On the second day of November 2017, the administrative and union management of CENSA presided over the Assembly of Workers in the UNAH.
This meeting began with a comment on the victory in the UN obtained by our country in the approval of the resolution against the United States blockade against Cuba. The Director General explained how the blockade has affected the country and specifically the CENSA (impact on income, obtaining reagents and international relations, among others). This victory, once again, has raised the name of Cuba.
The occasion also lent itself to presenting the new PCC Committee of the center.
Then the video “What Irma left us” was presented, in recognition of all the workers who participated in the recovery phase at CENSA.
The General Director and the Assistant Director General of Technical, Material and Professional Insurance presented the new structure of CENSA. For this they informed about the changes and structures that occurred in the Ministry of Higher Education and the orientation to all its entities to implement them. The CENSA created a commission that worked in order to join forces and resources for the successful fulfillment of objectives through the processes carried out by our institution. This proposal does not affect workers at the base.
The new structure consists of three general subdirections. See new structure.
General information was also given and some of the activities for the month of November were announced, among which the Provincial Act stands out on the anniversary of the physical disappearance of Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.
For the end, the answers to the workers’ questions related to the canteen and transportation were left.
November began and with him all the work of the balance of the 2017 objectives and annual evaluations. The call remains to “continue moving forward, without hurry, but without pause.”
